Each blade, sharpened to the millimeter from one of the best European stainless steels (14C28N), offers unparalleled cutting simplicity and precision. The handle made of recycled shells completes the combination of materials. Each La Sardine knife, unique in its shades and brilliance, evokes the richness of the ocean depths and the raw beauty of nature. This collaboration unites two Breton savoir-faire around the same philosophy: that of responsible, durable design rooted in reality, a knife that is both functional and poetic, a companion for life.

To design a La Sardine knife, 40 grams of shells are reused. The knife weighs 95 grams, has flat 50/50 grinds, a satin finish and a hardness of 58 HRC.

Each handle is handmade in our workshop in Nantes using a very low energy consumption process. Each object thus generates a very low carbon footprint. This artisanal process makes each piece unique; the possible presence of irregularities or fine bubbles resembling a small chip is normal and not a defect, it is due to manual manufacturing. This is also what makes the charm of our unique material!
