The result of a collaboration between 2 French artisan companies committed to upcycling materials, this partnership between Malàkio and Q de Bouteilles has given birth to an object that is aesthetic, committed, and meaningful, embodying the dialogue between two French savoir-faire united by reuse and sustainable creation.

The base of the tealight holder is made from our Istrenn composite, which mixes crushed oyster shells and also incorporates glass fragments from Q de Bouteilles' production waste. The glass dome, on the other hand, is shaped from a recycled magnum bottle by Q de Bouteilles. Each Malàkio x QDB Editions tealight holder is unique, featuring a mineral and textured finish that tells the story of its raw materials. Located in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, QDB Editions' team of glass artisans has been working with glass in their own workshop since 2016. They have mastered all glass production techniques to perfection and continuously explore the possibilities of this material, blending tradition and experimentation for both serial productions and custom projects.

Each piece created is unique; the possible presence of very slight irregularities is normal and not a defect, as it is due to manual manufacturing. This is also what makes this creation charming!
