The Octave side table is a creation designed by Stéphane Elineau for the Vendée-based company Résistub Productions, specialized in manufacturing metal furniture. The version we offer here is the result of a collaboration between Malàkio and Résistub. The Octave side table features a top made of recycled seashells, perched on a powder-coated steel pedestal. The 7 tubes that make up the base form a perfect heptahedron, subtly recalling a floral motif. It presents itself as both a design object, with a unique silhouette, and a functional object, intended to hold books, magazines, and drinks, at the end of a sofa, in a reading nook, as a bedside table... Its presence within a space entirely sublimates it.

The top of the Octave side table is designed in Malàkio's workshop in Nantes (44), while the base is manufactured in Résistub's factory located in Aizenay (85). This close collaboration (82 km separate our two workshops) is part of our commitment to always contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of our creations as much as possible and to participate in the local circular economy.

Each piece created is unique; the potential presence of very slight irregularities is normal and not a defect, it is due to manual manufacturing. This is also what makes this creation charming!

Delivery fees range from €4.90 to €7.90. They are custom-calculated for your order based on several criteria (products, volume, fragility, weight, delivery location, etc.) to ensure you benefit from the best rate under the best conditions. You can also pick up your order directly from our workshop located at 44 rue de Pont Aven 44300 Nantes. Pick-up is by appointment, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The pick-up option is offered on the order page.
